Cheap Single Pushchairs
If you're looking to save money and don't require a stroller that doubles as a car seat carrier, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop friendly.
It's easy to push and it feels solid when you are walking along woodland paths and kerbs. Additionally, it's easy to fold.
1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a reputation as the most stroller that is light, ideal for urban dwellers as well for jet-setters. This is due to its super nimble maneuverability and fold which fits in an aeroplane's overhead luggage. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels that is made of Hytrel elastomer that allows it to perfectly navigate across all types of surfaces and terrain'.
The curved fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 and 6+ months colour pack combine to create a stylish pushchair with a subtle, elegant aesthetic. The frame itself weighs just over a kilogram and is so light that you can lift it directly from the box (and do so one-handed).
It's also easy to add or remove attachments or adaptors like the hood for instance, snaps onto the YOYO2 with reassuring clicks and is machine washable at 30 degrees to help deter stains from smushed rice cakes and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as an infant stroller. It can also be transformed to a stroller by 6 months using the YOYO connect other chassis.
2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great choice for parents looking for an adaptable stroller wagon. It transforms from a stroller to a wagon just by flipping the handle, which means parents can pick the option they want to use on their trip. The wagon can accommodate one or two kids from 6 months old to 5 years old, and it comes with a large storage basket for everything you need on the go.
The Xplore also features dual canopies that move from the front to the back, offering ample sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell, which is not as deep or wide as other wagons, so it might not be comfortable for long-distance trips or napping.
The frame of the Xplore feels sturdy and solid, although it does not have as much flexibility as other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move, however, and can fit through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.
3. Delta Children LX Side by Side
This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want an affordable second stroller for their travels. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions. Pushchairs And Prams UK means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to move and store into a car trunk. It also comes with an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other key features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.
In our test of push and turn, it did better than many of the other strollers that we tried, but it's not the most maneuverable over uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. Its sunshades were among the smallest strollers we test. They only cover the top and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.
It took us less than three minutes to put together the Delta using a standard manual. The parts are all non-required and required tools. It is missing some features that we consider essential for a double stroller. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and leg rests that can be adjusted.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi’s newest pushchair, and is advertised as an urban travel system. It can be used from birth to around 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be converted easily with a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats, and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base and a reversible carriage.
It is really easy to maneuver, and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the huge shopping basket make it easy for parents to get their child out and in quickly. Despite this being quite a narrow pushchair it handled the bumps of everyday life well and slid through doors without a hitch.
The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward direction and can also rotate. This is useful for navigating through rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel on our walk along a stony path. It was able to handle this well, even though it felt a little bumpier.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is known for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler jogging pushchairs, but they also offer a great selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It folds easily and fits in the car's boot even with the carrycot attached.
It's a little heavier than the other strollers we tested but the wheels are a rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and durable. It is easy to maneuver over different terrains, and even with two kids, a shopping bag and other things.
The seat and carrycot both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are strong and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams, which can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.
It's not a lot of storage space, however it does have a large basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag and plenty of food items. It can also be linked with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you need a stroller that can be used on the road, the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.
6. Nuna Mixx Next
When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene, it instantly captured the hearts of parents everywhere. It's an aluminum-framed stroller that can be used from the infant's earliest days through. It's got a lot of standout features, including the capacity of the seat to be flipped between the front facing parent and the outside as well as a large UPF50+ canopy with a flip-out eyeshade, and an adjustable handlebar.
The wheels are durable and filled with foam which minimizes punctures and the chassis has built-in suspension that takes the sting out of rough terrain. It was easy to push and our test driver was able manoeuvre the vehicle through tight streets.
It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It can also be rolled and raised for easier transportation down the stairs or in the boot of the car. It also comes equipped with the ability to add a car seat and a carrycot with the adaptors included. The brakes are simple to use, using a single colored and flip-flop friendly.
7. Babyzen Duet
This budget single pushchair is surprisingly easy to handle and features great dual suspension, one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It is also lightweight and robust. The seat can be reclined in several positions. It has a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable for babies from birth.
The canopy/seat has two large sun visors that are fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best because it's not as quiet as Velcro and could cause sleepy babies to wake up.
The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be positioned so that they face each other. They can also be oriented to face the parents. This can help to lessen sibling fights over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a huge gear tray with a bottle holder as well as snack trays. It also comes with a compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.
8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.
The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger that's ideal for parents who want to keep active. It's one of the lightest strollers you can get for your child. It comes with excellent safety features such as five-point harnesses and a secure wrist strap. It has a different type of hand brake that is different from other models that are an interesting twist.
The seat is well-padded and offers a large area to sit in, however the seat's depth is less than other joggers we've tried (it's about 10"). The storage bin has a zippered cover to help keep things secure. It can hold 10 lbs. This is enough for most diaper bags.
The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters to fit most infant car seats and bassinets, but you can use them from the very first day using adapters that work with brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to put together with no tools. The manual is simple to read and contains a variety of languages.
